As genres romance, drama-based films, and commercial films are Karan’s plus, recently in an interview, KJo revealed that he will not be directing a horror film ever again.

Karan Johar also mentioned in his interview that he does not enjoy watching Horror and so clearly won’t enjoy making it. Sharing if Ghost Stories was a challenge, KJo revealed that directing the film was a challenge for him, because he felt like it gave him the ability to be out of his comfort zone and tell a story being uncomfortable. Adding on further, Karan thinks that every filmmaker should be, at one point, uncomfortable to tell a story because that challenges their core directorial spirit and mentioned that the horror anthology ‘Ghost Stories’ has been the most challenging schedule in his 21-year-long journey.

Karan Johar directed the fourth segment in Ghost Stories starring Mrunal Thakur and Avinash Tiwary in lead roles. Speaking about KJo’s further plans, this year, the director has films Dostana 2 and Takht in the pipeline and will be donning a director’s hat for it as well.
